Astrophotography Processing Competition from CHILESCOPE!

Dear Astrophotographers!

CHILESCOPE team invites you to participate in our Astrophotography Processing Competition.

The terms are as follows:

CHILESCOPE provides raw FITS data and all calibration files

The object - Fox Fur Nebula (see previews processed by our team member Stas Volskiy)

Total exposure was 27 hours in LRGBH-a

Only advanced qualified works will be accepted (intermediate and advanced level)

At least ten processed works should be presented

All processed works should be sent in JPEG format to support@chilescope.com with topic: “APC”. Please do not forget to mention your full name in the email.

All qualified processed works will be published in the gallery on our web site with notification about person who has processed   http://www.chilescope.com/image-gallery/35/

You can use any software you like to process

There will be only one winner (the winner takes it all)

The prize- 1000 observing points on CHILESCOPE telescopes

The prize points should be spent by winner on one telescope he\she chooses and for one object he/she chooses

Competition starts today!

The collection of works finished on 19.02.2019 at 03-00PM UTC

The winner will be  announced on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/chilescope and on the home page on our web site www.chilescope.com  at 20.02.2019 no later than 03-00PM UTC

The winner then registers on our Member Area page http://www.chilescope.com/members-area/

The prize points will be transferred to his account immediately

Attention 6GB!

IMPORTANT! The data was acquired on two 50 cm telescopes. Those telescopes are pretty much the same (50cm F/3,8 corrected Newtonians).  We provide calibration files for both telescopes. So final image should be stacked from both telescopes data.
