The locatioin of CHILESCOPE observatory confirmed!

For more than 6 months we were looking for suitable place for observatory in Chilean Andes.

Many thanks to our colleges and partners from University of Santiago Chile for helping us in this complex task.

The requirements for the place were as follows:

- minimum 280-300 clear nights per year

- seeing less than 1 arc second

- minimum dust in the air

- possibility to get on site by 4X4 track

-possibility of internet channel installation

- minimum light pollution

- possibility to purchase land

So, the place is established!
